What we do?

AWS uses its knowledge, skills and expertise to facilitate the capacitating of both land owners and beneficiaries of land restitution by:

  • Conducting comprehensive baseline assessment of the properties
  • Preparation of comprehensive master plan and business planning
  • Provision of transaction advisory services and social facilitation
  • Implementation of master plan and business plans and management of farms
  • Provision of training and skills development services
  • Mentorship/Incubation and continuous professional development 

How we do it?

In order to pursue the strategic opportunities presented by each land parcel, AWS jointly with the landowners establish the deal structure consisting of the landowner, Holding company wholly owned by the landowners as the development company, AWS as the advisory and management company, and concessionaires/operators for each investment area.

Funding required by Holding company for the productive development of restituted or owned land shall be facilitated by AWS from funders/lenders and government grants and such funding shall cover the following development, infrastructure and facilities costs:

  • Master plan and business plan development;
  • Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) studies; and
  • Installation of basic infrastructure including main service roads, bridges, fencing and services (bulk, link and internal services for water, sewer and electricity).
