Productive development and effective management of restituted land remains an elusive challenge in South Africa. Exploiting strategic opportunities in partnership and collaboration with communities therefore becomes a priority.
African Wildlife Solutions (AWS) intends to bridge this gap in order to realise maximum use of the restituted land for viable, productive and sustainable purposes by providing transaction advisory services and social facilitation for land reform and restitution.
What we do?
AWS uses its knowledge, skills and expertise to facilitate the capacitating of both land owners and beneficiaries of land restitution by:
- Conducting comprehensive baseline assessment of the properties
- Preparation of comprehensive master plan and business planning
How we do it?
In order to pursue the strategic opportunities presented by each land parcel, AWS jointly with the landowners establish the deal structure consisting of the landowner, Holding company wholly owned by the landowners as the development company, AWS as the advisory and management company, and concessionaires/operators for each investment area.
